Tazawine is a brand of a renowned glutinous rice wine producer, located on the beautiful Phu Quoc Island, known for its signature Sim Yen wine that carries the essence of Vietnam.
The story of Tazawine begins in 1999 when its founders set foot on Phu Quoc Island and discovered numerous swiftlet nests as well as wild sim fruit trees growing naturally on the Emerald Isle. From there, they conceived the idea of developing a new type of wine that would perfectly combine swiftlet nests and wild sim fruit in its formula.
Swiftlet nests are a valuable and nutritious food known for their health benefits.
Sim fruits, on the other hand, are a special wild fruit native to Phu Quoc Island, often soaked in alcohol for medicinal purposes. They have a ruby red color, a sweet and slightly bitter taste, and are rich in iron, known for their cooling effect, blood-enriching properties, calming effects, and digestive stimulation.
The perfect combination of these two ingredients creates a rich, flavorful, and nourishing wine.
Immediately after that, Tazawine embarked on extensive research and was determined to establish a large-scale distillery on Phu Quoc Island, aiming to combine traditional fermentation techniques, European wine-making methods, and modern alcohol processing technology to produce high-quality Sim Yen wine - a valuable and rich beverage for customers.
